Environmental Biology is an area of the biology that specialize in questions and problems about environmental topics, examples of that are biology of conservation or study of biodiversity, among others.
Environmental Biology has been wide development in Spanish-talking countries around the globe. However, in USA and Canada (and part of Europe) environmental issues has been more focused by the study in Environmental Sciences (related to Earth Sciences), Environmental Studies, in the side of the more classic, human or cities-related environmental problems or Ecology, for the more "nature"-related environmental problems.
This sub-field of environmental studies and sciences, take care of the study a wide range of environment research, as bio-remediation, conservation biology, human impact on wild vegetation and fauna, plagues in wild or urban scenarios, among others.
